The questions we get most often
Do you manage or hold my money?
No. We do not receive, hold, manage or move client funds. We are an advisory firm — we sell analysis and written planning notes, not products, not custody, not trading.
Are you licensed to give financial product advice?
No. We do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence to give personal financial product advice. We will tell you when a question needs a licensed adviser, and we will refer you to one rather than blur the line.
Do you recommend specific shares, funds or properties?
No. Our market research describes what the historical data shows. It does not include buy or sell recommendations for any specific product.
Who are your typical clients?
Two groups: high-net-worth individuals working on cross-border asset structures, and Australian small-to-medium businesses working through financing, market entry or succession decisions.
Where are you based?
Level 9, 50 Carrington Street, Sydney NSW 2000. We meet clients in person in the Sydney CBD, and work with interstate and overseas clients by video.
How much do you charge?
Each engagement is scoped and quoted in writing before we start. There is no ongoing retainer by default — most of our work is a one-off piece of research or planning.
Do you work with people outside Australia?
Yes, but we are clear about what we can and cannot do. We understand the Australian side. For the other jurisdiction, we will tell you to engage a local adviser rather than pretend to know it.
Can you promise me a return on my investments?
No, and neither should anyone else. Every investment carries risk. We describe the range of historical outcomes; we do not promise future ones.
What is the first step?
Send us a short note through the contact page describing your situation. We will tell you whether we can help, what it would roughly involve, and what we would need from you.
Do you take commissions from anyone?
No. We earn no commission, trail fee, referral fee or kickback. Our revenue comes only from the fees we charge our clients. That is deliberate.
